How soon will my search be returned to me?
Our aim is to return them within three working days but faster if at all possible.
Are you covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance?
Yes – up to £2,000,000 per one claim. A copy of the certificate will be supplied on request.
If I require additional information, how much will you charge me?
If requested at the time of the search, if we pay nothing, you pay no more. If requested at a later date 99 time out of a 100, the same.
What will you tell me about land near to my client’s property?
Please request at the time of ordering search and we will research it at the same time. This is also included in the quoted price.
If I need another search carrying out on the same property and for the same client, will you charge me full price again as the Local Authority will?
No, we will carry out a refresh search at a reduced cost. However, if the coal, water, chancel or environmental need to be re-done, full charges will apply as they are carried out by agencies we are contracted to sell for.
Do you do commercial searches and are they more expensive than residential?
Yes we do commercial searches at the same price as residential. But again, the outside agencies for coal, water, and environmental charge more for commercial search. The coal authority will charge a commercial price for a small piece of land also.
Are you on the DX post system?
Yes we are on Yorkshire Searches, DX 136066, Halifax.
How can we order our searches?
By fax, email, royal mail, and DX system. If you wish to order by fax or post, we will provide you with a form to supply us with the details of the searches you require.
