The people behind Yorkshire Searches
Jackie Dyson
Yorkshire Searches was founded by Mrs Jackie Dyson in May 1994 and was the first dedicated search company in the West Yorkshire area. Prior to setting up the company, Jackie worked in the Local Land Charges and Planning department of Calderdale Council in Halifax, carrying out the search process everyday and dealing with all manner of requests and questions from members of the public.
This has given her a vast knowledge and insight into the ways in which Local Authorities work and therefore knows where to go and who to ask for any information required.
In the beginning, only Local Authority Personal Searches were carried out, but as the personal search industry has grown, so have the services and searches offered.
Anne Hirst
Anne worked at Kirklees Local Land Charges for 19 years and was Jackie’s first choice to join the company when Yorkshire Searches expanded. Working in that department has also given her a vast knowledge of the search process and it makes the company the leader in experience in the search industry.
Anne is also bringing fresh ideas to the company as well as her bubbly personality and sense of humour. A person willing to learn more and pass on her knowledge and experience to other.
Stacey Fitzgibbon
Stacey is Jackie’s youngest daughter and has grown up with the business since the day it started. She joined the team full time as Office Manager in December 2007. Due to her being a stickler for tidiness she runs the office smoothly and efficiently.
Stacey has been trained to do searches and also prepares the Home Information Packs for the sister company AccuHIP Ltd of which she is one of the Company Directors. She keeps in line John Wood and Jonathan Marsh the Domestic Energy Assessors and Directors AccuRating and AccuHIP.
Michael Dyson
The latest person to officially join the team is Michael, Jackie’s other half. He has since 1994 been responsible for the accounts, ordering the coal, water, environmental and chancel searches, all for no fee. He officially became a Director in May 2008 and is Company Secretary for AccuHIP.
Michael was a Police Officer for thirty years and is specialist in dealing with Fraud, Money Laundering and Confiscation Laws and also has his own company of M.D.F.I.S. (Michael Dyson Financial Investigation Services). If you require any further information please contact him on XXXXXXXXX
